Hey there,
Peter asks me:
Can I shut off the auto greeting in Live Chat? I'm doing a classroom-type presentation, and want to be able to direct people to the chat to ask live questions. But, the automated "Can I help you" would be inappropriate in this situation.
Can I turn off the greeting completely. Or, if I can't turn it off, can I change the wording of the "Can I Help You" to something more appropriate like "Type in your questions"?
It is possible! Here's how!
You can easily turn off or modify the auto greeting in LiveChat.
Please go to the Settings> Languages> Choose your Language and just edit the correct field (as shown below)

Please remember %name% is your visitor name which he put in the pre-chat survey.
