Hey there,

Here's a common request - how would you set up LiveChat in multiple languages on one page? This is a real case!

Scenario 1

Vlad asks:
How do I set up triggers for two different languages, if my page is set up for English and Russian?
I replied:
Really easy! First you need to create a Ru and En skill:

1. Log in to your Control Panel. Do it here: https://panel.livechatinc.com
2. Go to the Operators tab.
3. Follow to Skills Management - Create a new Skill - i.e. RU
4. Add the Operators who you intend to be assigned to RU

Follow this instruction again, but create a EN Skill. Now you should have two Departments: EN and RU

Now, generate click-to-chat button codes, tracking codes for RU - place them on RU version of the page, and do the same for EN pages
You will be able to assign the Destination Skill for triggers - basically a RU trigger will work on RU tracked pages, and EN on EN tracked pages

Scenario 2

Vlad:
Problem that it's a same template file.
I reply:
But the url differs by the /ru am I right?
You can add a variable to triggers - That is a MUST contain /ru/ in the URL string
then Ru triggers will show only or /ru/ pages, and the rest will show on english

1. Log in to your Control Panel: https://panel.livechatinc.com
2. Follot to Settings > Invitations
3. Create an invitation > Match All of the following conditions > current website address contains string /ru/
The /ru/ will be the differentiator.
This was great! If you found this useful, be sure to let me know!
