Hey there,

Have you ever read an e-mail, and wanted to discuss it right away? You may give your clients this opportunity! Just add a LiveChat button to your e-mail signature. Here's how to do it:

1. Log In to the Control Panel. Go here: https://panel.livechatinc.com
2. Install > Chat button
3. Choose Advanced Options, Button Type: graphical/textual
4. Enable No JavaScript code
5. Copy, and paste the button code into your e-mail signature

Please make sure that you have enabled the HTML format for your e-mails. That's a requirement for your chat button to appear in your signature.

From now on everyone who receives mail from you will be able to engage a chat right from their e-mail client with just one click!

Be sure to let me know if this was helpful!

Blaze we enabled this however it doesn't take the email recipeint to that specific agent which sent the email. It will send them to the queue where any agent accepts that customer.

Is there a way to send that customer to the agent which specified in their email to click on that link? The only way I can imagine this is to create a Skill for each individual agent.

You should use Skills as operators in this case. Edit the code so that it applies to a proper skill (individual skill for an operator). This way it will always link to him.

Start by Adding a Skill at the Panel > Operators > Skills management. Name it with the Operator's name.
Afterwards apply this skill to the signature button in the Panel. Use that code for the signature and you're set.

I think this has changed. Would someone please post an update, as it does not match the website any longer. I am not able to follow the instructions, because they are not correct.
