Hey!
Sometimes you just need to leave the desk in a rush, leaving your computer running. If LiveChat would stay Online, that might mean you could miss some chats. Those could be valuable leads! Bare in mind that we prepared a solution for you! Auto-status shifting!
Let me explain: Whenever you're Online, LiveChat keeps accepting chats, and Triggered invitations are being sent. When Away or Offline those actions will not be performed.
Here's how you make sure you don't get chats when you're not there to pick up:
1. Log into the Application, and click Preferences in the Chat Console
2. Right on top you'll find Two settings like in the screenshot. The Away works best set to 5-10 minutes, and Offline around 30 minutes.
The status shift occurs when you remain completely idle on the computer - similarly to the way a Screen Saver kicks in.
To get back Online, just move your mouse. If it turned you to Offline, sign back in again!
