Hi everyone! We plan a 2 hours maintenance on Saturday, June 18th
During this time, LiveChat will have about 30 mins of scheduled outage. This outage will allow us to upgrade our slave database server. This step is taken to have an active backup in case of master database server failure and so creating backups will not overcharge the main database server.

When is the maintenance?
  • (Daylight Savings Time, GMT+1) Saturday, June 18th from 08:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m
  • (Pacific Daylight Time, GMT-7) Saturday, June 18th from 00:00 a.m to 02:00 a.m

Will my LiveChat work on my website?
During this time the chats will not be initiated and the website monitoring will not be working. Chat windows will not load during the planned outage.

Will my website work properly?
We introduced the asynchronous tracking code over a year ago. All websites with asynchronous tracking code will not be affected by the outage
If you placed LiveChat script on your website more than year ago, we recommend updating it and placing it between <head> and </head> tags on your website, otherwise you may experience page load timeouts. You can find your tracking code in your LiveChat control panel under 'Website integration' tab.

What will the customers see when LiveChat is down?
During this maintenance there will be periods when LiveChat is entirely unreachable and accessing the chat window will time out. We will make every effort to minimize these periods.

You can follow the @LiveChat Twitter for the progress updates on the maintenance.
